For those of you who missed out on The Doylestown Moose show a couple weeks ago… well, I’m sorry. It was a great time. But lucky for you, there’s a tape floating out there somewhere. Of course, all the best stuff happened off camera (no surprise there!). Here’s a little preview on Matt Kresge’s MySpace page of a smokin’ Smokehouse jam from that night. (There’s also a nice little ditty on there by Bern.)
BTW - don’t even try to rip off that guitarist’s licks. It won’t work for ya. Maybe if you stood on your head and looked in a mirror it would work, but probably not.

I also met lots of great folks…

Big thanks to Gifford from Delaware who turned me onto the Delaware Friends of Folk. Also, have to give a nod to Corrin, who I just met. She runs a sweet shop called HippieCrap.com and she’s promised to make me a hat. I can’t wait… it’s COLD out there! I also got to meet some of the funny dudes from SpiTune! Finally, Jim, the 21 year old who sounds like a 101 year old blues man from Appalachia, stopped by and turned me onto some of his new banjo music. Hot damn! :-o
